Basically, the premise in this fic is that Shotaro is pretty obviously straight, Philip is in love with him, and Shotaro has to make the choice between the future he wants (a wife and children) and breaking Philip's heart in the process of getting it, or learning how to be with Philip, at the expense of his ideal future. I wrote a fic that sort of already tackled the "Shotaro is straight and Philip is in love with him" premise (Traps, Cheetahs and Alcohol), but in that one Shotaro was still obviously attracted to Philip from the get-go. Also, this totally started out as random mindless PWP which evolved a pretty serious plot, at which point I realized the PWP scene no longer made any sense in the context of the story, and thus I ditched it. I think this is probably the first time that's ever happened. XD (but don't worry, I'm not going to let a random, context-less PWP scene go to waste!) Kamen Rider W. Shotaro/Philip, Akiko/Terui.
